Ledgent is seeking an Order Processing Specialist to join a client of ours. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, from initial entry through to delivery, while ensuring a high standard of customer service. The position involves close coordination with internal teams and proactive communication with customers to resolve issues and maintain a smooth order flow.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Direct Hire. $26-$30/hour. On-site (Southeast metro).

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer orders received via various channels (e.g., phone, email, electronic data systems).
• Generate and send invoices through appropriate channels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve order entry or processing issues in coordination with internal teams or external partners.
• Maintain daily order tracking using spreadsheets or internal systems.
• Provide order status updates and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with fulfillment or warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
• Communicate order-related issues to relevant team members and assist in problem-solving.
• Generate shipping labels and documentation as needed.
• Answer incoming phone calls, forward messages, and assist with front-desk responsibilities.
• Distribute incoming mail, email, and other correspondence to appropriate contacts.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies and place orders as necessary.
• Respond to consumer emails with clear, concise, and timely communication.
• Support other administrative or customer service tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
• 5+ years in a similar role - processing invoices, AR/billing, customer service focused positions
• Excel - intermediate to advanced
• Fine working on-site
